Day 1: 7.30 am. pickup from your hotel in Adelaide, and travel 300 Kms North to Pichi Richi Pass and the historic Ghan Railway township of Quorn for lunch, visit the spectacular Warren Gorge & the Kanyaka Homestead Ruins abandoned during the Great Drought of 1864-7 convenience stop at Hawker the Hub of the Flinders Ranges and the gateway to the Outback before travelling through the Moralana Scenic Drive, one of the best in the Flinders Ranges. Check into accommodation at Wilpena Pound Resort.

Day 2: After breakfast, enjoy an unforgettable complimentary 30-minute Scenic Flight around this spectacular geological formation called Wilpena Pound (subject to weather). After the flight we continue our Journey to Arkaroola as we travel through the heart of the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park via Bunyeroo Valley & Gorge, spectacular Brachina Gorge, the picturesque Parachilna Gorge & on to the historic copper mining town of Blinman for lunch. With abundance of wildlife in the area there is a good chance you could see Kangaroos, Euros (Wallaroos) Emus, Parrots and the graceful Wedge Tailed Eagle. Follow the 'Dreaming Trail' as we carry on to Arkaroola via the eastern side of the Flinders Ranges across remote sheep station properties before we stop for a 4WD trek into Chambers Gorge, where you can view the gallery of ancient Aboriginal Rock Engravings. Continue on into the Gammon Ranges National Park and the Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary Resort. Founded by Reg & Griselda Sprigg now operated by their son Douglas.

Day 3: Early breakfast before joining the exclusive, world famous, Arkaroola Ridgetop Tour, travel through the creeks, valleys & over the ridges of the Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary, climaxing with an amazing view from a stunning lookout. After lunch, we say good bye to our new friends at Arkaroola and spend the afternoon sightseeing our way through to Blinman, we’ll be taking in the sights such as the Historic Balcanoona Woolshed, Neppabunna Aboriginal community, Leigh Creek (coal mining township), Aroona Dam, travel along the Parachilna Gorge and arriving at the “Blinman Hotel” around 5 o’clock. Pre dinner sunset drinks watching the sun drop and enjoy our evening meal.

Day 4: Return to Adelaide via Hawker, Craddock, Orroroo we continue on to Adelaide travelling to the east of the ranges through marginal farming country devastated by the 'Great Drought' of 1864-67. Visit Jamestown and the famous wine producing Clare Valley. We have a stop in Clare for lunch, before arriving back at your Adelaide accommodation late afternoon.
