Itinerary:
Day One: - Adelaide to Wilpena Pound Resort
Depart from Adelaide at 7.30am and head north to Quorn for Lunch
Morning tea stop and then call into Port Germein (view the longest Jetty in southern hemisphere)
After lunch head off for a walk in the Warren Gorge (2 hour) just north of Quorn
Continue journey on to Wilpena Pound Resort for the night - view points of interest on the way
Dinner in Wilpena Pound Resort Restaurant
Day 2 - Wilpena
Morning walk into Wilpena Pound and up to Wangara Lookout with views over the interior of the Pound (3 hours)
Lunch at Wilpena Pound cafe
Spend the afternoon exploring the Ikara Flinders Ranges National Park travelling along the Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorge Roads and the Moralana Scenic Drive.
Return to Wilpena for the night
Dinner in Wilpena Pound Resort Restaurant
Day 3 - Wilpena to Arkaroola
Complimentary 20 min Scenic Flight around Wilpena (subject to weather)
Leave Wilpena after breakfast and drive to Arkaroola
Call into the Stokes Hill Lookout and then Blinman for morning tea
Arrive at Arkaroola for lunch
After lunch do the Acacia Ridge walk (2.5 hours)
Stay at Arkaroola for the night (possible option to do observatory tour at own cost)
Dinner in the Native Pine Restaurant at Arkaroola
Day 4 - Arkaroola
Spend the morning on the world famous Ridgetop tour (5 hours)
Return to Arkaroola for lunch
In the afternoon do a cultural guided walk with traditional owner Sharpie - and learn about bush tucker and history of the local traditional owners
**Or Mawson Spriggina Loop walk - (4 hours) if Sharpie is not available
**Or swim in the pool !
Dinner in the Native Pine Restaurant at Arkaroola
Day 5 - Arkaroola to Adelaide
Depart from Arkaroola after breakfast heading for Adelaide via Copley, Leigh Creek and the western side of Wilpena Pound and the central Flinders.
Lunch at Orroroo, Jamestown or Clare - enjoy the views of the beautiful Clare Valley
Arrive in Adelaide late afternoon / early evening
