DAY 1: Depart Adelaide 7.00am from your place of accommodation to start your 4WD tour.
We follow Highway One express to Port Pirie for a Café style morning tea. From Port Pirie we travel to historic Quorn for a hearty Pub lunch via the picturesque Port Germein Gorge & charming town of Melrose. We then travel to Wilpena Pound (160km) taking in some sights of interest including Kanyaka Ruins, Hawker township and Arkaroo Rock Aboriginal Site ( optional easy walk approx 1 hour ), then on to Wilpena Resort, dining at the Captain Starlight Restaurant.



DAY 2: An early start (7.30am breakfast) to have the easy flat walk (optional) to the Hills Homestead located within Wilpena Pound completed by morning tea time (1 hour ). There is time for an optional half hour scenic flight over Wilpena Pound.
After lunch we set off to explore the Flinders Ranges National Park by 4WD taking in the sights of Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorge viewing some Fossils from the Ediacarian period and may be lucky to witness some Yellow Footed Rock Wallabies at play. We stop at South Australia's "highest Pub" the Blinman Hotel to wash the dust down before we witness the afternoon light shining upon the walls of Parachilna Gorge.Tonight we have a great time at the Prairie Hotel , Parachilna famous for its feral delights.



DAY 3: Another early start to travel to Marree to catch our Scenic Flights (Payable on the day @ Oasis Cafe, Marree) over the Lake Eyre National Park to view & explore Australia's largest Salt lake. We have lunch at Marree and a town walk before 4WD driving out to the Muloorina Station Waterhole. (fed by a hot artesian free flowing bore to sustain a permanent oasis in the Outback teaming with birdlife). For the remainder of the day (mix of 4WD and short walk) at Lake Eyre's Level Post Bay to finish the day with an exclusive & unforgettable Late afternoon NIBBLES at the edge of Lake Eyre before returning to our accommodation for dinner..



DAY 4:Our destination is Coober Pedy via the Oodnadatta Track to William Creek (lunch). We detour north to another vantage point to view Lake Eyre North from its western shoreline. (tonights dinner is at the famous "John's Pizza Bar" where all the locals eat) Motel accommodation at Coober Pedy



DAY 5: Homeward bound after we refuel and visit the "Big Winch" lookout overlooking this unique Opal mining town before we use the remainder of the day driving through to Adelaide. Arriving in Adelaide at approx 7.00pm.
