Day one: 7.30 am. pickup from your hotel in Adelaide, and travel 300 Klms North to Pichi Richi Pass and the historic Ghan Railway township of Quorn, visit the spectacular Warren Gorge (short walk) & the Kanyaka Homestead Ruins (short walk) abandoned during the Great Drought of 1864-7
Lunch at Hawker the Hub of the Flinders Ranges and the gateway to the Outback before traveling through the Moralana Scenic Drive, one of the best in the Flinders Ranges, continuing on to the Pugilist Hill Lookout for views of the Chace Range & Wilpena Pound.
Book into accommodation at Rawnsley Park Station or Wilpena Pound Resort depending on availability of accommodation.
Day two: Early breakfast before an easy 1 1/2 hour nature walk exploring this spectacular, ancient geological formation called Wilpena Pound. After your unforgettable walk we return to Adelaide via Bunyeroo Valley / Gorge & Brachina Gorge, a geological journey through 640 million years.and we may be fortunate to spot endangered Yellow Footed Rock Wallabys
Lunch at Hawker before continuing on through the quality wine producing Clare Valley.
Stop to sample some local produce, arrive in Adelaide approx 6.00 – 6.30pm.

Day one: Same as day one of two-day tour.
Day two: Depart for Mount Chambers Gorge, the most spectacular accessible gorge in the Flinders Ranges. 4WD trek into the gorge for lunch in idyllic river Red Gum surroundings and walk along the floor of Mt Chambers Creek to view the gallery of aboriginal rock engravings reputed to be thousands of years old.
Visit the old copper mining town of Blinman for lunch and return to Wilpena via the Flinders Ranges National Park.
Day three: Early breakfast before an easy 1 1/2 hour nature walk exploring this spectacular, ancient geological formation called Wilpena Pound.Return to Adelaide via Bunyeroo Valley & Gorge, Brachina Gorge, and on to Hawker for lunch. Then on to Adelaide via the Clare Valley stopping for wine tasting on the way.
Arrive in Adelaide approx 6.00 – 6.30pm.

Day 1: 8.00am Adelaide pick up - Travel to Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary via Burra (morning tea) along the Broken Hill road to the lonely township of Yunta (lunch).
From here our outback journey really begins as we leave the smooth tarmac roads behind us. For the next 300 km it's just us, dirt outback roads and the wildlife until
we reach the civilisation of Arkaroola Village. After dinner we view our outer solar system of planets, binary stars and galaxies from Arkaroola's Observatory.
Day 2: After a strong coffee and healthy breakfast we join the morning departure of the world famous "Ridge - top Tour" to witness the amazing views from the heights
of Sillers Lookout whilst taking in the knowledgeable commentary from one of Arkaroola's Eco- Accredited guides. After lunch we explore the Southern tracks of the
sanctuary including the historic Bolla Bollana Smelter and Waterhole, also the amazing Pinnacles which are an outstanding feature of the Mawson Valley and much more.
Day 3: This morning we dicover this amazing region by air with a 75 minute scenic flight over these ancient mountain ranges of the Arkaroola Sanctuary and fly further
eastward to witness the vast expanse of Lake Frome (dry salt lake). The afternoon is filled by exploring the Northern tracks of the sanctuary including the Ochre wall, Barrarranna and Stubbs waterhole. (An easy short walk is required)
Day 4: This morning we say good bye to our new friends at Arkaroola and take the whole day to sightsee our way through to Adelaide. We cross the Vulkatana -
Gammon Ranges National Park from east to west, passing through a small Aboriginal community of Neppabunna arriving at the old "Ghan" township of Copley
just in time for morning tea accompanied with a delicious local specialty, the "Quondong pie". From here we turn south and travel parralel to the Heysen Range
of the Central Flinders Ranges arriving at the historic railway township of Quorn where we are treated to a delicous lunch at the friendly Austral Inn. After visiting
a local gallery we travel through the picturesque Pichi Richi Pass to meet Australia's Highway 1. From here we travel express to Adelaide and say our goodbyes.
